About the Tenacious Awards

Empowering charities to make a greater impact

The Tenacious Awards support campaigners with true tenacity, working to right injustice. The purpose of the funding is to help campaigners be more effective in moving their campaign forward.

The Tenacious Awards hope to provide assistance to campaigners, nurturing their growth and guiding them towards success. In addition, we will contribute £20,000 of funding. There are no restrictions on what the funding may be used for, as long as it is in support of moving the work forward.

Campaigners make a huge contribution to societal change. They give so much of themselves: their energy, personal time and sacrifice, pushing the boundaries, even putting themselves in harm's way. Campaigners fight against a pandemic of indifference. But the work of many of these extraordinary people is often undervalued and under appreciated.

The Tenacious Awards aims to celebrate the art of campaigning and recognise its contribution to the public good. We aim to give campaigners the freedom to push for change, try new things and develop new approaches and methods. We want to give campaigners the space to think deeply, do things differently and bring new campaigners, energy and funding into the field.
